CATCHING UP WITH…TARA O'GRADY

So what’s new with Artists Without Walls’ member Tara O’Grady?

After a successful debut in the city of jazz, Tara is already working on her fourth album to be named after a New Orleans neighborhood – Irish Bayou. The Irish of New Orleans have embraced her as one of their own and asked her to write songs about their history in that unique city where she appeared on radio and television in March, and performed everywhere from the Irish Cultural Museum in the French Quarter to a float in the city’s St Patrick’s parade. Tulane university professor Dr. Laura Kelley has even included Tara in her soon to be published book about the Irish in New Orleans. The Irish Network has invited her back to perform November 8 for a gala commemorating the Irish who fled the famine and landed in the crescent city in the 1800s.
